EAGERS PARTS TRADE SHOW 2011

Hello All Our annual Eagers Holden Parts Distribution Centre trade night in Townsville on Thursday 7th July was hugely successful; we had over 160 of our customers attend.

Peter Mikeleit, Eagers Holden Dealer Principal and APE Eagers General Manager Fixed Operations QLD and Northern Territory Wade Hermann were there along with all the Management and team from Townsville, Eagers Promotion and Online Manager Diane Batley along with Adam Edmonds our Eagers Holden Financial Controller were also in attendance.

The night started with Mr Paul Rietveld, National Sales Manager for GM Genuine Parts Australia along with Mr Darcy Kirkpatrick, GM After Sales Manager for Qld and Mr Aaron Wyeth, GM Trade Club Manager for Qld speaking and presenting on Holden trade club and Holden genuine parts promotions.

Townsville’s Deputy Lord Mayor, Cr Mr David Crisafulli and his Wife Tegan attended. David gave a heartfelt speech about investment and business generally in Townsville.

Our previous trade night one year earlier, we had the HONOUR of hearing Roland Dane speak personally about his passion for Motor Racing and his commitment to Triple Eight Race Engineering.

Roland commented last year on where he would like to see Triple Eight Race Engineering going forward.

This year we had Peter Jamieson Team Vodafone’s Commercial Operations Manager along with JAMIE WHINCUP and CRAIG LOWNDES speak about their motor racing experiences to a crowd of over 160 dedicated Eagers Holden customers and Holden Supporters.

Both Craig and Jamie went the extra mile, taking questions from the crowd , mixing with and talking to allt he fans and giving out and autographing memorabilia.

Unfortunately the night had a sad part to it with the announcement by John Doust our Parts Distribution General Manager Brisbane and Townsville along with our newly promoted Manager for Townsville Tony Graham, that our valued employee of over 27 years and manager of Eagers Parts Townsville for all 27 of those years, Toby Krauklis announced his retirement, and will be leaving us on the 29th July.

We wish Toby all the best for his retirement We thank all involved for such a enjoyable and successful evening and a special mention to both Jamie and Craig along with Peter Jamieson for their attendance.
