The new Series II Holden Cruze will be built right here in Australia. Holden has been manufacturing vehicles in Australia for Australians since 1948. While benefiting from GM's global engineering and manufacturing prowess and European styling, the model is decidedly Australian.

New range of engine

The new Series II Cruze now offers even more powertrain options. Choose from the new super smooth 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine, the 1.8 litre petrol engine with spirited performance, or the new advanced 1.4 litre intelligent Turbo induction (iTi) petrol engine that provides superior performance with an enviable fuel economy, and can take you up to 1000 kms on a single tank.

New sports models

For the sports-minded, the new Series II Cruze now includes two sports models, the SRi and top of the range SRi-V. Both offer understated yet sophisticated sports-styling with unique front and rear sports facias, rear lip spoiler, side skirts and 17" alloys (4).

Watts Link suspension

The 1.4 litre iTi turbo petrol engine comes standard with Watts Link rear suspension that sets a new benchmark in sporty handling and refined feel. This new performance suspension provides a more responsive drive with crisper steering, adding to driver enjoyment.

The new Series II Cruze boasts a range of new technologies on the SRi-V. Like; Sensor Key technology that lets you get in and take off without taking the key out of your pocket, satellite navigation with a 7" colour screen and a premium DVD audio system with an in-built 10GB hard drive that lets you pause live radio.

The Holden Cruze is serious about safety. With 6 airbags, ESC and a host of other active and passive safety features, the Cruze has been awarded the highest possible 5-star ANCAP safety rating, standard across the range.

Premium audio

The SRi-V comes standard with an integrated 7" colour sat nav and a premium DVD audio system which includes an in-built 10GB hard drive that can store around 2000 songs, and has the ability to pause live radio.

iTi Turbo

The new advanced 1.4 litre iTi turbo petrol engine takes sporty driving another step forward. This new engine provides superior performance with enviable fuel economy and is standard on the SRi and SRi-V, and option on CD models.

Sensor Key Technology

Standard on the SRi-V, the Cruze detects the Sensor Key as you approach and automatically unlocks the door when you pull the handle, and the push button allows you to start and stop the engine, all without taking your keys out of your pocket or your bag.

Performance

More powertrain options are available with a choice of 3 engines: a 1.8 litre petrol, a 2.0 litre turbo diesel or the 1.4 litre intelligent Turbo induction (iTi) petrol engine. The Holden Cruze marries 4-cylinder fuel economy with the type of performance, ride and handling only a Holden can provide.

The 1.8 litre DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder ECOTEC petrol engine is standard on CD and CDX models. This advanced petrol engine produces spirited performance from low revs to high.

The advanced 1.4 litre DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder iTi turbo petrol engine, takes sporty driving another step forward. This intelligent engine provides superior performance with an enviable fuel economy starting at just 6.4L/100km, and can take you up to 1000km on a single tank#. Available on CD and standard on SRi and SRi-V only.

The 2.0L DOHC 16 valve 4-cylinder common rail turbo diesel engine is the most fuel-efficient car built in Australia≠. Optional on CD and CDX models, its improved performance as well as improved fuel economy offer a powerful, fuel-efficient diesel offering.
